Dharmanagar, 26 Sept 2022: The Thieves looted in the Kalibari temple taking away precious items in Garjan Tilla in Dharmanagar.
Like every day, the priest of the temple came to offer puja in the morning and found that the temples lock was missing. Immediately the priest informed the temple committee. The members of the temple committee came and noticed that the gold ornaments on the body of Kali Maa were not there, at the same time worship utensils of the temple were missing.
Immediately the temple authorities informed the police about the incident, and the police came and investigated the entire matter on the spot.
Items worth around lakhs of rupees including gold ornaments and puja utensils were stolen. Due to this, several cases of theft have taken place in Dharmanagar city recently, but the police administration has not been able to arrest anyone till date.
