Dharmanagar, 03 Oct 2022: From the morning of Ashtami, a crowd of visitors was observed in every mandap of Dharmanagar city along with the worship of Dasobhuja Devi. Each mandap is decorated with the artist’s artwork. Notable puja halls of Dharmanagar city are Chandrapur Apanjan Club. This year’s pavilion is modeled after Sikkim’s Saibaba temple, with idols and illuminations crafted by local artists.
At the same time Navarag Sangh is decorated this year with imaginary mandap and local illuminations. The Durga Puja of the central city is decorated with fancy art. Padmapur Club has decorated the mandap this year in the style of local “Charak Puja”. Club Consensus has vowed to worship the Mother through the Imaginary Mandap. Small-scale pujas along with large-scale mandaps have also become the center of attraction for visitors.
