Dharmanagar, 4 June 2022: Mrinal Kanti Debnath, the Trinamool nominee of 57 Yuvraj Nagar, submitted his nomination papers to the Returning Officer L. Darlong, one step ahead of the ruling BJP.
Trinamool Congress submitted nomination papers on behalf of Trinamool Congress candidate Dr. Mrinal Kanti Debnath at 57 Yuvraj Nagar Center. Nomination papers were submitted to the Returning Officer of 57 Yuvraj Nagar Center L. Darlong at 2 pm on Saturday. Trinamool organized a procession centering on the submission of nomination papers.
The procession started from Battarsi Trinamool Congress office in Dharmanagar and reached the DM office on foot rallying. While the procession was passing through Dharmanagar Town Kalibari, the leaders worshiped Kali Ma along with with the candidate in the temple.
Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Deb, state general secretaries Baptu Chakraborty and Tapas Roy, state co-president Basit Khan, co-editor Asim Talukder, state committee member Biswajit Deb and other activists joined the procession.
