Khowai, 16 Sept 2022: A dead body of a man was found floating in the water in Mandai Bari area of Padmabil area under Khowai police station on Friday. The name of the dead youth was identified as Khukan Telanga.
It is learned that when rubber plantation workers went to the area for work on Friday morning, they saw the dead body of Khukan Telanga floating in the water. The workers immediately informed the Baijalbari police outpost. On receiving the news, the police of Baijalbari outpost rushed to the spot, and later Khowai sub-divisional police officer Rajiv Sutradhar went to the spot.
Later, Baijalbari outpost police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Khowai District Hospital for post-mortem. After the post-mortem, the body will be handed over to the family of the deceased.
On the other hand, there has been a lot of sadness in the whole area due to the recovery of the body of Khukon Telanga. The locals are in dilemma whether it is murder or suicide. However, the real secret may come out in the police investigation.
