Mungiakami Thana Police has achieved great success in its anti-Ganja campaign. A large quantity of dried cannabis was seized from a long-distance lorry, along with the driver of the vehicle.
According to news reports, the Mungiakami police station conducted a routine search in the area adjacent to the CRPF drop gate on the Assam Agartala National Highway and seized a total of 386 kg of dry cannabis from a long-distance lorry numbered NL.01.AB 4247. Along with that, the out-of-state car driver was arrested.
The report of the incident was sent to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Police Officer Prasun Kanti Tripura. He rushed to the spot after receiving the news.He said that the estimated market value of seized ganja is estimated to be around three lakh rupees.
