Body released from GB hospital without postmortem

Belonia, 4 June 2022: Pradeep Dey, a BJP supporter, was seriously injured in a political clash between the ruling BJP and the opposition CPI(M) party in the Eksho Ghat area of ​​Radhanagar in Belonia sub-division in June. Injured Pradeep Dey was rushed to Belonia Sub-Divisional Hospital in critical condition. The doctor on duty sent him to Agartala GB Hospital via Shantirbazar District Hospital with serious injuries.

After two days of medical treatment, BJP supporter Pradeep died on Saturday morning. The deceased’s wife Pratibala Dey and family members brought Pradeep’s body from GB Hospital to their home.

But then Pradeep’s body has been brought back to Bilonia Sub-Divisional Hospital from home for postmortem. The autopsy of the dead body is going on through the administrative siege.
