Boxanagar, 7 June 2022: Customers at Boxanagar Grameen Bank are facing daily harassment in one form or another. Bank employees are careless about the customer issues, even after several complaints to the Bank authority about the problems. Especially old age allowance recipients are not getting the right service from far and wide, where they are made to wait from 10 am to 4 pm. Sometimes there is no electricity or maybe internet service in down etc., because of which they are not able to pay their bills.
This has caused extreme anger among the customers of Boxnagar Grameen Bank. Talking to such a customer, it is learned that he has to return home empty-handed after coming to the bank for the last few days and sitting there for several hours. He could not buy the necessary things for the house due to a lack of money.
Moreover, customers rent cars from Rahimpur or Putia and come to Boxnagar Grameen Bank again and again, which costs a lot of money. Half of the monthly allowance they get goes to car rental.
Thus, if the customers have to be harassed due to the negligence of Grameen Bank employees, then people may turn away from Grameen Bank.
