Bishalgarh, 14 Sept 2022: Youth Congress President along with four Congress workers arrested by the police of Bishramganj Police Station were handed over to Bishalgarh Hon’ble Civil Judge Junior Divisional Court under tight security from Bishramganj Police Station at 11 am on Wednesday.
According to news source, a protest of Congress took place in Bishramganj Bazar without permission on Tuesday afternoon. A political clash between the BJP and the Congress parties took place around that protest march.
Argument took place with Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rahul Das over the security of Congress workers including the Youth Congress president amid political clashes. Youth Congress president Rakhu Das, former PCC member Dulal Ghosh, Congress worker Hridoy Das, Bittu Das were arrested by the police after Inspector Srikant Chakraborty filed a case against four Congress workers at the Bishramganj police station late on Tuesday night.
A BRG PS 62/2022 US-147/148/149/358/333/327 IPC case was taken against them at Bishramganj police station and handed over to Bishalgarh Hon’ble Civil Judges Junior Divisional Court under tight security from Bishramganj police station.
Ever since the arrest of the Pradesh Youth Congress president, there has been a shadow of sadness in the Congress circles. Congress workers are now waiting to see what verdict the honorable court will give against the accused.
