Bishalgarh, 06 Oct 2022: On Dasami night a family members were attacked ruthlessly in front of Green Arrow Club in Kalibari under Bishalgarh police station at around 3 pm on Wednesday midnight.
It is known that Rajiv Deb, a resident of Murabari area, along with his family went out to see the puja that night. Allegedly, when they came in front of the Green Aero Club located in Bishalgarh to watch the puja, a group of youths of the Green Aero Club including Jay Saha, Sonai Patial, members of the Green Aero Club, first beat up Rajiv Deb, then when the family members of the injured Rajiv Deb came forward to protect, a group of miscreants including Sonai also beat up Meenakshi Saha Deb (30), Sandeep Saha (52), Pratima Saha (45), Rashutosh Deb (55).
Ritesh Deb, a 12-year-old boy, was not spared by them, who was allegedly kicked and thrown on the road. As a result, everyone in the car including Meenakshi Saha Deb was seriously injured. Due to the attack incident, at around 3 o’clock in the night, a tension broke out in front of the Green Arrow Club. The victim’s family members rushed to the spot after hearing about the incident. They came and blocked the way in front of the club. Meenakshi Saha Deb, the affected woman, faced the media and told the whole incident in detail.
Meanwhile, after this incident, the affected woman was brought to the Bishalgarh sub-district hospital with the help of Bishalgarh police station. Later, when she was brought to the hospital, the doctor on duty referred the woman to Hapaniya Hospital as her condition was critical. Meanwhile, a complaint was lodged at the Bishalgarh Mahila Police Station against a group of youths including Joy, Sonai, after giving details of the incident.
It should be noted that Bishalgarh office Kalibari area has recently become the arena of a group of miscreants. Various criminal activities are organized in this area almost every day. However, everyone from the District Superintendent of Police to the local police station is aware of this vicious circle. But it is reported that the police administration is not daring to take action against them as there is a big political leader behind them.
