Bangladeshi youth arrested with 15 Lakh taka in Natun Bazar market

A Bangladeshi youth was arrested with a large amount of Bangladeshi money by the police of Natunbazar police station, from a weekly market on Sunday morning.
Based on a tip-off, police from Natun Bazar police station arrested a youth named Ranajoy Tripura (22) from Natun Bazar weekly market. After searching him, the police recovered a five bundles of note, and from which Bangladeshi cash money of total Fifteen Lakh Taka was found. During police interrogation, Ranajoy Tripura (22) said that he is a resident of Panchari area of Bangladesh.
It is reported that he has brought the money from across the border. However, there is an information in the intelligence wing of the police that a gang from Natun Bazar market is involved in money laundering from Bangladesh.
Now it is to see if the police can find any trace of that gang through the detained Bangladeshi youth?

All India Youth Leader Meenakshi Mukherjee was present as the main speaker at this youth conference. Tripura Minister NC Debbarma Dies At 80; PM Narendra Modi shares condolences

Senior Minister and President of the BJP’s ally Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) Narendra Chandra Debbarma died on Sunday following prolonged illness, family and hospital sources said. He was 80.
The veteran tribal leader suffered a severe brain stroke on December 30 and was admitted to the government run Govind Ballabh Pant Medical College and Hospital.
He played a very significant role in installing BJP-IPFT alliance government in March 2018, defeating the CPI-M led Left Front.
Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi twitted on Sunday, ” Shri NC Debbarma Ji will be remembered by the coming generations as a hardworking grassroots leader who always worked for the well-being of people. He made a rich contribution to Tripura’s progress. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti”.
Debbarma, who held the Revenue and Forest Departments, is survived by four sons, three daughters and a wife.

Hazlewood declares himself fit for Sydney test
Australian quick Josh Hazlewood says he will be fit for Sydney and does expect to play in the new year’s Test.

The new year’s Test begins on January 4, with Australia hoping to take an unassailable 2-0 lead into the match.

Apple iPhone’s ‘Find My’ feature helps locate car crash victim in US
Tech giant Apple iPhone’s ‘Find My’ feature has helped to find a woman who fell 200 feet down a hill, following a car crash in the US state of California.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department posted the details of the rescue on Facebook and stated that the incident happened on Monday.
According to the post, the victim had likely been in her crashed car overnight after leaving a family gathering.
Family members became concerned after not speaking with her the next morning and used Apple’s ‘Find my iPhone’ feature to track her whereabouts.
After following the smartphone’s location, they found the car and called 911.
Once rescued, the victim was “loaded into an awaiting ambulance for transport to a local trauma centre.”
Meanwhile, earlier this month, the Emergency SOS via satellite and the Crash Detection feature of the iPhone 14 had helped rescue two people in a serious car crash in the US.
