He also requested political parties not to use their lives as a means of gaining political mileage. “Recently, we have seen that a leader of a regional party is quite excited to help 10,323 teachers. He should know that more than 70 late teachers were from indigenous communities and around 50 percent of 10,323 are tribals. They are depressed and still fighting for survival. I appeal to the whole state cabinet to please consider our issue and reinstate us in the schools again,” said Pradip Banik.
Political Clash: Petrol bombs, counter-attacks, burning houses is tensioning the situation in Routhkhala area between two political party workers
Bishalgarh, 19 Oct 2022: Political tension still prevailing in Bishalgarh Routhkhala area. Attacks, counter-attacks, petrol bombs, and flashes of weapons continued throughout the night. The attack was carried out at the house of Gopal Saha, the booth president of the BJP party in the area, and the other who newly joined the Congress party. The fire was thrown at Rabindra Sarkar’s betel shop. The locals resisted and set fire to three bikes and a scooty of the miscreants who came to attack. The incident occurred in Routkhala area under Bishalgarh police station.

According to the details of the incident, last Monday evening, a group of BJP workers led by Youth Morcha Sipahijala North District Secretary Saikat Saha issued forced instructions to shut down shops of Rabindra Sarkar and Sajal Sarkar in Bypass Choumuhani area of North Rautkhla area, and allegedly threatened the opposition party workers in the area.
But the BJP youth leader alleged that the local Congress and CPIM workers attacked them when they went to Rautkhala area for the party program. BJP workers somehow managed to return from the spot. A lot of tension was created in the area based on the incident.
The day after this incident i.e, on Tuesday night, there was a fiery situation in the whole area. A group of miscreants attacked the house of Gopal Saha, the local booth president of the BJP party that night. Gopal Saha’s mother complained that a group of miscreants suddenly came at the gate of their house at night and attacked them with sharp weapons, iron rods, and sticks. Later, the shop owner Rabindra Sarkar opened his shop when the sub-divisional police official assured him to open the shop. The well-intentioned community of the area is demanding the high-level intervention of the district administration to calm the chaotic environment.
