Ignoring the bloodshed of the ruling party and the duplicity of the administration, a huge youth rally was held in Dharmanagar on Tuesday. By a joint initiative of four left student youth organizations, the conference began at 2:00 pm with thousands of youth activist supporters at an abandoned site adjacent to Dharmanagar DNB ground demanding the struggle to protect democracy and re-establish the rule of law.
All India Youth Leader Meenakshi Mukherjee was present as the main speaker at this youth conference. In her speech, she highlighted the corruption and administrative failure of the present state government. At the same time, she highlighted the central government’s central government job cuts, increase in commodity prices, privatization of state self-organizations.
