Bishalgarh, 16 Sept 2022: Students blocked the road to protest the transfer of teacher. Asim Ghosh, a teacher of Class 12th Chelikhola, Bishalgarh, has been transferred. The students demanded that their beloved teacher Asim Ghosh should not be transferred anywhere. But still the education department transferred Asim Ghosh, without paying any attention to them. In protest, the students of the school today sat on the Bishalgarh Baxnagar road blockade from 11 am.
Many vehicles and travelers were stuck on both sides of the road due to this blockade. Bishalgarh police rushed to the spot after hearing the news. Charilam school inspector Uttam Kumar Dutta and DO Antony Debbarma went to inspect the situation.
Students demand that their beloved teacher Asim should not be transferred anywhere. The students said they will not withdraw the road blockade until their demands are met.
Lately, in many schools of the state, students are forced to take to the streets to protest the transfer of teachers, but even then the education department is not paying attention.
