BJP’s Golaghati mandal president Ramakrishna Saha has been accused of having an illicit relationship with a destitute woman by luring her with a job. The incident caused some unrest in the Golagati mandal as well as the ruling party across the state.
A section of the party has demanded the expulsion of the mandal leader accused in the women scandal. The accused mandal president Ramakrishna Saha finally clarified the matter on Friday before the state leadership of the party took any decision on the matter.
He claimed to be innocent and accused the whole incident as a conspiracy of his party. At the same time, he submitted his resignation letter to the state president of the party in writing and admitted that he would take the necessary measures as part of the party’s investigation.
Sources claim that after the mandal president’s press conference today, the factional conflict in Golaghati mandal of the ruling party has come to the fore.
