23 Sept 2022: It has been a year since Aryan Khan’s jail case. Shah Rukh Khan’s son was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in October last year in connection with a drug case. He was arrested on a cruise from Mumbai to Goa. Aryan was released after spending some time in jail.
Neither Shahrukh nor Gauri Khan has commented on his son’s activities or jail life in this one year. When ‘Koffee With Karan’ started, many speculated that perhaps Gauri would use this platform to open up about her son. That is the truth.
Gauri recently appeared on Karan’s show along with Bhavana Pandey and Maheep Kapoor. There he broke his silence about Aryan. Without naming Aryan directly, Karan said, “It was a very difficult time for him and you all were very strong. I know you as a mother. We are all members of the same family and I am also a member of that family. I know times have not been easy and Gauri, you have never been so strong before.”
Gauri replied, “Nothing can be worse than what we have gone through. But the way we stand together as a family, I can say we are in good shape. So much love, so many messages, so much love from all our friends, and from people we don’t even know. we are blessed Thanks to everyone who helped us.”
Gauri also said that Aryan decides how she should or should not wear clothes. Son is his ‘fashion police’. For example, long sleeve shirts cannot be worn, jackets cannot be worn. Aryan knows best what clothes mom will look best in.
Aryan was arrested in Cordelia Cruz in October last year in a drug case. He was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau and spent almost a month in jail. Aryan had been hiding his face since getting conditional bail.
He could not overcome the trauma of the prison experience. Aryan confined himself to the house because of the ban on meeting friends and going to parties. But after getting acquitted in a drug case a few months ago, he returned to his previous form.
