Belonia, 18 Oct 2022: Youth Trinamool Congress protested with an agenda of Chakka Jam at Belonia No. 1 Tila Street on Tuesday afternoon.
The Chakka jam program was held on this day with a total of five demands, including protesting the increase in the prices of CNG, PNG, petrol, and diesel.
On Tuesday, Youth Trinamool Congress leaders, along with Trinamool Congress branch organizations, leaders, and supporters raised slogans and blocked the road, and organized Chakka Jam program by stopping the traffic. The police along with the VCM rushed to talk with Trinamul leadership. As they did not agree to remove the blockade from the road, they were temporarily jailed by being brought under arrest as per the law, and they were released after some time.
Trinamool Congress leader Tridiv Dutta, Prashant Sen, Kajal Banik, youth leader Rahul Chowdhury, and other leaders were present in the program.
