Teliamura, 19 Sept 2022: One wild tusked elephant open rampaged a house including various items, rice stored inside the house in Maharanipur area under Teliamura Divisional Forest Department at around 2 pm on Sunday night.

It is known that on Sunday night suddenly a wild tusk elephant entered the Maharanipur area and went on rampage and entered a house in the area and caused extensive damage to a living room. Destroys various items including rice stored inside the house. Family members alleged that the wild tusk elephants entered the house on Sunday night and destroyed about 320 kilos of paddy stored in the house.

But despite repeated attempts to contact the forest department, for some unknown reason, no one from the forest department could be reached, starting with the ADS team responsible for driving away the elephants. Geeta Rani Das, the housewife of the house, expressed her anger about such a role of the forest department while facing the journalists.

On Sunday night, a sudden attack by a wild elephant in the Maharanipur area caused a stir in the entire area.

Teliamura, 18 Sept 2022: A long-distance 14-wheeler lorry was stolen from Bishalgarh police station area and a stolen long-distance lorry was caught by Teliamura police station on the basis of GPS location. The incident took place on Saturday night in Jaruilong Bari area under Teliamura police station.

According to the news, a 14-wheeler long-distance lorry was stolen from the Bishalgarh police station area and on the way to escape, the Teliamura police station intercepted a stolen long-distance lorry with the number TR05-D-1828 on the basis of GPS location. Along with that, a thief named Rafiq Alam was arrested.

However, according to local sources, another young man who was with Rafiq Alam fled from the spot after seeing the presence of the police. Later the police of Teliamura police station arrested the thief named Rafiq Alam and brought him to Teliamura police station.

It is reported that the Teliamura police station will hand over the arrested thief Rafiq Alam and the stolen long-distance lorry to Bishalgarh police station.

Teliamura, 17 Sept 2022: A long distant lorry bearing numbered MH40-BG-8346 collided with a huge tree branch in the area adjacent to the C.N.G station on Friday night at Hawaibari area under Teliamura police station.

Later, the local people witnessed the incident and sent the information to the Teliamura police station. However, no casualty was reported. After receiving the information about the incident, the police of Teliamura police station reached the spot.

Although in this case, the locals complain, that the branch of this tree has been on the road in a dangerous condition for a long time. When informed to the forest department, the forest department said that this is under the P.W.D. So the matter will be looked at by the Disaster Management, and when the sub-divisional administration was informed, the sub-divisional administration passed the responsibility upon the police.

But it can be said that this tree branch on the road was in a dangerous condition, and the locals also said that there have been many serious vehicle accidents in this place before.

Local residents and well-informed people think that if the tree branch would have been cut by taking good initiative, then the accident might have been possible to prevent.

Teliamura, 16 Sept 2022: A minor named John Rudra Pal was seriously injured in a car accident in North Kamalnagar area on Friday morning.

It is known that a Maruti car hit a minor traveling on the side of the road in North Kamalnagar area and fled from the spot. The minor was seriously injured by the car hit. Later, the people of the area witnessed the accident and brought the injured minor to Teliamura sub-district hospital.

When the minor was taken to the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital in a serious condition, the on duty doctor of the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital referred the minor to GB Hospital in the capital for better treatment as his condition was critical.

Now it remains to be seen what steps the police take to nab the car that hit the minor.
