Teliamura, 19 Sept 2022: One wild tusked elephant open rampaged a house including various items, rice stored inside the house in Maharanipur area under Teliamura Divisional Forest Department at around 2 pm on Sunday night.
It is known that on Sunday night suddenly a wild tusk elephant entered the Maharanipur area and went on rampage and entered a house in the area and caused extensive damage to a living room. Destroys various items including rice stored inside the house. Family members alleged that the wild tusk elephants entered the house on Sunday night and destroyed about 320 kilos of paddy stored in the house.
But despite repeated attempts to contact the forest department, for some unknown reason, no one from the forest department could be reached, starting with the ADS team responsible for driving away the elephants. Geeta Rani Das, the housewife of the house, expressed her anger about such a role of the forest department while facing the journalists.
On Sunday night, a sudden attack by a wild elephant in the Maharanipur area caused a stir in the entire area.
