Agartala, 15 Sept 2022: A kokborok horror movie “Kwthwi ni Sampili”, directed by Samir Debbarma is going to be released on 19 Sept, 2022 at Rabindra Satabharshiki Bhawan in Agartala.

Short films, Music videos and feature length films are taking the state of Tripura by storm in case of publicity. In every month, different forms of films are being released in social media platforms or Hall screenings. Since a two decades of different productions in the state, the standard of film makings are making it’s way in standardization comparing to the past beginning.

Though the state of Tripura is in its initial stage in the platform, and still lacking backward incase of box office collection with benefit, the strives of the generations in large numbers are bringing a hope for success for the mere future.

Among them Mr. Samir Debbarma, a film director from Khowai have directed in many feature length movies. “Kwthwi ni Sampili” by Sugam Film Production is a kokborok horror movie directed by Mr. Samir is expecting a great hope for success with a release on 19th Sept, 2022 in Agartala.

He said, in the release program the Chief Guest will be Sri Purna Ch. Jamatia, CEM, TTAADC, Suhel Debbarma as a guest of honour, Jahar Debbarma as a Special Guest, Chira Kr. Debbarma as a Special Guest among others.

Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez on Wednesday appeared before the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police to join the investigation in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion cum cheating case involving multimillionaire conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

She went inside the EOW office from a back door and was accompanied by her counsels.

The EOW had earlier postponed her questioning on her request and had fixed the matter for Wednesday. Pinky Irani, an associate of Fernandez has also been summoned to join the investigation and both are likely to be grilled together.

Sources in the unit said that they have prepared a long list of questionnaire which will be asked to the actress.

“We will ask her about her relationship with Chandrashekar and the gifts, money which she received from the conman. We might confront Irani and Fernandez,” the source said.

There are possibilities that the questioning can go for two or three days. The questions that will be asked to Irani and Fernandez have been prepared by the top officials of the agency to nail the lies of Chandrashekhar.

In the first week of September, the EOW officials had recorded the testimony of another Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi in the matter.

Chandrashekhar was arrested for allegedly cheating and extorting money from some high-profile people, including former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh’s wife Aditi Singh. Many Bollywood actors and models have been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate for their alleged links to Chandrashekhar.
