Khumulwng, 21 July 2022: A new staff management notification was issued to Khumupui Academy on Wednesday, by the PO of Education Department, TTAADC in order to de-escalate the frequent accidents taking place near the entrance road. Sri Chittaranjan Debbarma, Executive member, Education and PWD department, TTAADC responded positively to the deputation given by Tripura Indigenous Peoples’ Press Associtation (TIPPA) and Tiprasa Photo Media Association (TPMA) on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Executive body and members of TIPPA and TPMA solemnly thanked EM Chittaranjan Debbarma, for immediate implementation of the issue after the deputation. TPMA Secretary Mr. Amulya Debbarma alongwith other executive members from the two associations conducted a press meet in Khumulwng.
According to the details of the incident, on Wednesday morning while entering into the Khumpui Academy school, a boy of class – II collided with a running scooty rider, which caused a fatal accident in the morning. The boy was seriously injured and admitted in AGMC and GBP hospital for treatment.
Looking into the matter, Tripura Indigenous Peoples’ Press Associtation (TIPPA) and Tiprasa Photo Media Association (TPMA) handed over a memorandum of deputation to EM Chittaranjan Debbarma, demanding an immediate implementation to prevent further incidents in the accident prone area.
EM Chittaranjan Debbarma, without any delay took to implement the procedure for the well being of the social cause, and recommended the matter to the PO of education department. In the very day, PO of education department issued a notification regarding the staff management for guiding the school students at the entrance of Khumpui Academy.
The notification has brought a relief among the parents and guardians of the students of Khumpui Academy. Due to the right decision, at the right time, further incident will get de-escalated, according to the locals.
