29 May 2022: After four years of imprisonment Prince Bauri returned to India, in her own country from Bangladesh on Sunday.
Prince Bauri, 35, a resident of Simna area from Sidhai Mohanpur, with his interest for travel got into a car to sabroom intoxicated. He was then dropped off at the subroom market in a state of intoxication, and he crossed the border into Bangladesh at some point.
Bangladesh police arrested him and sent him to Rampur police station and later to Khagrachhari police station. Being an Indian citizen and crossing the Bangladesh border without a passport, the Bangladesh government sent him to jail without trial. Since then he has spent four long years in Feni jail.
On Sunday, Bangladesh Police handed him over to Belonia Muhuri Ghat check post. Belonia police handed him over to his family today after questioning.
Finally, Prince Bauri is naturally happy to be back in the country after a long time. He himself gave details about going to Bangladesh and being detained.
