03 Oct 2022: All the weirred incidents are happening in Pakistan ! Already after the audio clips of several leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, including former Prime Minister Imran Khan, were leaked from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO Pakistan), it has now been reported that the railway ticketing system has been hacked. Not only this, after hacking the ticket system, the hackers also change the text printed on the ticket. Everyone was shocked after seeing the printed ticket.
Even, the related picture has already gone viral on social media. In this context, according to media reports, it is known that on September 30, hackers hacked the ticketing system of Pakistan Railways. Also, the text on that ticket was changed to read “Sex service available in AC class.” In such a situation, the passengers traveling by local trains couldn’t belief their eyes after seeing this “facility” provided by the railways.
Naturally, this incident was strongly protested after the tickets with such inscriptions came to the attention of the ticket booking office. Besides, the passengers informed the ticket management of the railway. Later, the Railways reportedly rolled back its ticketing system. However, by then, the picture of the “strange” ticket had taken the internet by storm.
After the whole matter came to light, Thal Express officials submitted an application to DSP Railway Rawalpindi. It was there that their software was hacked. In this situation, Thal Express officials requested the DSP to register a suitable case against the hackers. Besides, strict action was also demanded against them. Above all, it is also claimed that the reputation of the company has been damaged due to this hacking.
Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir has already tweeted in this regard, “The reason for the change mentioned in the ticket is that the ticket system of Thal Express is hacked. This system is with a private contractor. Although, the railway ticketing system was hacked, it has now been recovered and freed from the hands of the hackers.”
