Patharkandi Phulbari FC won the first semi-final of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Smriti Prize Money Football Tournament by 2-1 goals. This football tournament started on Saturday, October 15th at the South Phulbari ground under Kadamtala block of Uttar district. A total of sixteen strong teams participated in the tournament.
From the start of the game, the game was conducted in a beautiful and comprehensive manner under the supervision of the game management committee president Mojaid Ali, vice president Swab Ali Lashkar, editor Reqman Ali, chairman Abdul Khaliq, Siddharth Singh, treasurer Zakir Hussain. On Sunday the first semi-final of the tournament took place.
On this day, two strong teams met Patarkandi Phulbari FC of Assam vs Two Brothers Churaibari FC. From the beginning of the game, both teams gave football lovers an exciting game. In the last half of the game, Patarkandi Phulbari FC snatched the victory by 2-1 goals.
On the other hand, the vice-president of the tournament management committee, Mohammad Swab Ali Laskar, said that in this tournament, there will be a trophy and forty thousand rupees for the winning team and a trophy and twenty thousand rupees prize money for the runner-up.
He also said that the second semi-final of this tournament will be held on November 4th (Friday), where South Phulbari Zahira FC will face Balichara Young Star.
The final game of this tournament will be held on Sunday, November 6th, 2022 from 1.30 pm with a wonderful cultural program.
