03 Oct 2022: Bollywood was once the biggest industry in the Indian film world. Till now, Bollywood is of different importance to many actors and actresses in regional language industries. But there is no denying that Bollywood no longer has the glory it once had. Rather, seeing the growth of southern films, many are stepping towards it. Among them are famous actors and actresses of Hindi industry.
Salman Khan is also going to make his debut in South by surprising everyone. He will be seen acting in Telugu film industry megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather’. It is known that Salman agreed to act in the film without reading the script of the film. He did not even agree to take any remuneration for this film.
Chiranjeevi said, ‘Godfather’ director Mohan Raja first mentioned Salman’s name for this cameo role. Bhaijaan has a very good relationship with Chiranjeevi’s family. So he took it upon himself to convince the actor. Chiranjeevi sent a message asking for Salman’s help. The answer came immediately.
Chiranjeevi had earlier told Salman that the role was small. But important enough. If necessary, he can watch the original film ‘Lucifer’. But Salman agreed to Chiranjeevi’s words. Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan went to meet the Bollywood actor.
Salman clearly tells him that he is like his brother. He doesn’t need to see Lucifer. Just explain his character. Salman agreed in just 2 minutes. But he did not want to take any remuneration for acting in the film. Salman made it clear to the producers that no amount of money can buy his love for Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan.
Salman did not agree to take any money. Out of love for his grandfather, he agreed to act in Godfather for free. Chiranjeevi was impressed by Salman’s sincerity. The trailer of the film has been released recently. ‘Godfather’ is going to be released on October 5.
